With seat belts and helmets and car seat legislation abound, I wonder why ANYONE is allowed to ride in the open bed of a pick up truck? I hate to see 2 or 3 little kids sitting back there.
Also, it is not illegal to carry someone elses driver’s license unless you committ a crime with it. DUH? What do they think a 17 year old kid is going to do with it?

Rep. Phelps is carrying an important piece of legislation that amends the Township Code to permit township officials to regulate poultry running at large. I guess that’s a big problem in far Southern Illinois?!?
