Teamsters 916 are organizing pickets at various IDOT District offices.
In over 32 years, I have never seen or heard of the Teamsters picket any IDOT office.

Weren’t the Teamsters the guys that were super friendly with Rauner??

No. Teamsters were not chummy with ruiner. They negotiated a series of contracts. ruiner was an anti-union governor. He pushed for RTW, issued executive orders and filed lawsuits to eliminate fair share.
Teamsters were not friends with ruiner.

I will say this - the anger today within the Jewish community directed at the Mayor’s office and City Hall is palpable.. And it will last..

Didn’t they join with Operating Engineers in signaling to ruiner they’d support constitution efforts to cut public employee pensions? An offer ruiner spurned.

I noticed the illinois state police posted a tweet today about how enforcement of minor traffic laws, specifically mentioning improper lane usage, can be a useful tool in discovering much more serious crimes. It almost feels like that was aimed at someone.

Beginning to lose confidence that our current Chicago Alders and Mayor can ever manage anything of substance in and for Chicago. plenty of blame all around.
