  1. Could not be a more pleasant day here is beautiful DuPage County today. If those darn cicadas would shut up, that is.

    Didn’t watch one inning of the Sox game last night. At least they held Boston to under 15 runs.

  3. The Chicago Red Stars will be taking on Bay FC at Wrigley Field this Saturday. It should be a fantastic time, albeit forecasted rain.

  4. around the Chicago area, the great tiny branch debate. are the 5-6 inch pieces that came off trees from the big wind yesterday? or are they the result of cicada chewing? some cicada watchers say the alien sounding beings did the damage
