Enjoyed all the positive attention on Illinois and Chicago at the DNC this week. Now to try to catch up on sleep.

Trying not to get too overhyped about the Bears being undefeated in preseason.

Annoyed the first home Illini game is at 8 p.m. on a Thursday night

I was flipping channels later last night and missed the Kinzinger appearance. I was floored when I found out after the fact that Jim Edgar was a debate prep partner for JB, but Kinz blows that one away for Illinois Republicrats.

Caught the majority of Kamala’s speech. She stated we need to “fight” at the end. I guess it’s okay if she says it?

I’m enjoying how noticeably disappointed so many national media people are that nothing crazy happened in the streets of Chicago. So many major media outlets were salivating over the idea of being able to report on chaos, rather than actual educating and informing their viewers.

It’s a little different when a political leader tells rally goers to fight with the intention of them storming the capitol stop a certification of elections and they do just that.
