Checked out my sample ballot ahead of early voting starting and am a bit bummed at the lack of Dem placeholders to vote for in McLean County.

Not a single countywide office is contested by Dems despite Pritzker and Duckworth winning the county in 2022 and Biden and Durbin winning the county in 2020.

I know the Illinois Dems are doing just fine without a vibrant McLean County Democratic Party existing but if any part of the state is crying out for better Dem organization it’s here.
