I feel like this is the first time in 3 years that September has felt like Autumn.

Once again No Fall Baseball Chitown or the Lou for that matter. Maybe the Bears can pull it together and at least make it interesting enough to still be watching by the end of October ?

At the last minute I decided to go to the last White Sox home game. $10 ticket and $10 parking! Including a Hot Dog and drink I spent less than $30. Last time I spent so little at a ballpark I was a teenager. And the Sox even won!

I’m picking my 19 year old college student daughter up this afternoon so she can vote early in her first general election.

Mercifully, the Sox season will be over soon. I’ve lived through bad seasons before, but this one seems hopeless. No reason to assume next year will be any better.

The Sox can’t even be losers correctly. They robbed their fans of a chance to see history at the end of a season when they brought fans no other joy
