  1. Was at an unnamed fast food restaurant a few blocks from the Capitol for lunch yesterday and witnessed someone have a “fast food tantrum.” Throwing his order back at the workers and using profanity before being kicked out. And he left in what appeared to be an engineering company vehicle. How unprofessional.

Time for HB 4567 to get unstuck out of Senate Assignments during Veto and be amended to cover not just library workers, but all workers public and private. Including fast food workers who already are in the most stressful conditions all for poverty level wages.

  2. Cooler weather. Going to the County Building to vote. Trying to figure out an alternative vacation since we are supposed to be in the western Carolina’s … but no roads and the hotel we were booked into is closed.

  3. Got to the Sangamon County Building to vote shortly before noon. Almost all the voting booths were in use, and every clerk was busy verifying voter registrations and issuing ballots.

If this is typical, there is a lot of early voting.
