The fields around my home are nearly done with harvesting. The temperature is definitely jacket weather. My midwestern wife allows enjoys these days of “long shadows” as she calls them. It is pretty here on the West Central Illinois Prairie in the Fall.

Fished the Kankakee River yesterday.
Perhaps the cleanest river in Illinois now.

The advocates who started pushing for cleanup 50 plus years ago would be proud.

Another day without any news about if the Hawks/Sox/Bulls channel is going to be on Xfinity yet, and where.

I swear, these guys are going to bleed fans if they keep this up. You’d think they’d look at the reduced ratings for the Cubs on Marquee as a major warning sign, but nope, guess not.

It’s all about the money, boys. If there are fewer fans or fans can’t access the content, they do not care. Especially for Bulls and Sox, which will be on the market soon enough. Gotta get the balance sheet looking as good as possible. Owners….

I’m seeing tons of signs that say only “Vote No.”
These folks are too lazy to even say what they want people to vote against.
Or maybe they’re just so angry they want people to vote against everything.
