Pretty darn chilly overnight here in beautiful DuPage County. But it’s supposed to be another clear sunny day near 70, so what’s not to like?

It was a nice little stretch there in between Rauner and before Johnson.

Lori was not the greatest of all time, but she certainly didn’t routinely embarrass us in this way - and seemed to understand her job.

Watching my mayor take a poounding. Ald. Jeanette Taylor seems correct when she opined that the progressives were not ready to lead. Also, watching Caleb Williams progress is fun. I wish my mayor wasn’t on the opposite trajectory.

To DuPage at 11:39 ref allergies: Mine (Cook, 60827) are so bad I’m finally doing allergy testing. I’m on sprays and a pill with very incomplete relief this year.

Setting up a basic obituary in the Sun-Times, Trib, and Daily Herald looks to cost me close to a grand. I have to wonder if this is driving people away from traditional print posting and sending them to the web instead. Mom would be infuriated and ask to see the manager.

Another good night of Northern Lights viewing. For anyone searching for them, they are not always easy to spot. When you know conditions are right, I recommend pointing your phone camera north. You’ll be amazed. Once you know where they are, give your eyes at least a 15 minutes to adjust to the darkness, and do not so much as peek at your phone. It’s unlikely they’ll be vibrant in this part of the world, but it is cool to see. Even through a camera.
