Dramatic change in the last two days in the leaf coloring. Amazing weather for September and October.
The only thing that would make it better would a be a live streaming of the Madigan trial!

Waited 40 minutes in line yesterday to vote in Suburban Cook. Line was out the door. I was voter 891 or so, and they told me it had been like that ALL DAY, and all day on Monday. More than 900 voters each day.
I’ve never waited that long to vote, especially not during early voting.

===Dramatic change ===
Yeah. I have trees that turned red overnight. Stunningly beautiful.

@ Suburban Mom
I voted early yesterday. It took a total of 15 minutes, from the time I entered the courthouse, until I left the courthouse. I live in McDonough County.
It would be interesting to see how this time differs across the state as well as precincts. I know when I lived in a city (New Orleans), it only took me 30 minutes to vote for Gore in my suburban neighborhood, but it took city dwellers hours (literally).

Opps. That was Kerry, not Gore.

Voted yesterday. No line. Lots of election staff available to help. I usually prefer to vote on election day but am dealing with a medical situation so why wait?
