First hard freeze in West Central Illinois almost over. Round 2 coming in a few more days. Hopefully, the bugs will lie dormant this winter. It seems like flies, mosquitoes, and Japanese Beetles have been around a long time this year.

A very nice December day in beautiful DuPage County. Had a great long weekend with family and now taking folks to the airport. Life is good.

How about those Bears? Is the rest of the season worth watching with their new coach? And why is Poles still employed after his disastrous pick of Eberflus as coach? Will any real coaches even apply?
