What causes a school board to be so toxic, either they can’t get a candidate to convince all of them to select him/her and/or the whole board can’t find a way to be a collective and move forward?
I.e. Champaign Unit 4
Now, they have to defer to the selection by the Regional Superintendent, as happened 1 year ago…

That Champaign school board is toxic. I agree with the superintendent that admonished them in the last meeting I read about.
