Much cooler than yesterday here in beautiful DuPage County. Still it’s sunny and it could be a lot colder in March around these parts, so make the most of it, I guess….

I keep looking at the big photo in the Tribune of the outer closed prison building at Dwight and I keep thinking bed and breakfast inn. Hey, it’s across the road from a country club….

@JoanP, thanks for that link! the building materials are so lovely down at Dwight. It would be a shame to destroy them. Repurposing old structures instead of demolishing is good.

@JoanP several of Dwight’s buildings are so much nicer than those depicted in the nyt piece. that limestone block material is fantastic.

So if Dwight was repurposed as a B & B would it be like the Hotel California where you can check out any time you like but you can never leave.

@WestSidetheBestSide LOL. but I do think that building is awesome. a development should include repurposing the fantastic limestone block structures.
