Here in the Colts’ new semi-indoor stadium — kind of a large box with a flap open at one end — the Bears displayed something just as fresh as the boondoggle building.
A running back and a quarterback.

I laughed when the first snap was fumbled…mis-snapped. Good game. If the Bears will get a lead in each game, they will be fine. Orton is still not the answer..he did look adequate and didn’t panic like Rex

The Bears played a solid game and I’m happy they won against a good team. However, I have to chuckle at the Chicago sports media. When it comes to the Bears, they are really bi-polar: They have a poor pre-season and the pundits are all predicting doom and gloom. Then they win ONE game, and they are predicting great things. If you watched post-game live on Comcast Sportsnet last night you would have thought they’d just won the Super Bowl. If they lose next week against another good team on the road, they will be predicting gloom and doom again.

The Colts didn’t need a new stadium. I was in their old one, when it was called the Hoosier Dome. It was completed in 1983, and it had about 56,000 seats. It was still in great condition when the Colts got a new stadium.
