@Rich thx for the follow-up on budget. The double-speak about not wanting to raise taxes & provide property tax relief, while pushing and voting for pension proposals that cost billions of dollars…in revenue and property taxes…is too much for this tiny brain to grasp.

love reading that NYTimes piece on the event the Archdiocese put on at White Sox Park, as the Pope called it. also hilarious that Sullivan in the Tribune can’t get off the Sox/Cubs issue of the Pope as fan. there’s some funny words in his Sunday piece about the Pope cheering for the Cubs when he was in Peru and wanting notice of it. Never thought the Cubs world would be so desperate.
