Glad to see new components coming to Rivian. Curious why the second shift workers aren’t even getting 40 hours a week and when they do go in they are only moving 6-12 vehicles a shift.

I just saw that two Illinois sites got grants from the National Trust for Historic Preservation: the Muddy Waters Mojo Museum in Chicago, and Historic Brooklyn, IL (one of the earliest freedom settlements).

I’m worried that I missed my window to buy Calhoun peaches from roadside stands in Springfield. Can’t find a stand in the usual spots. If you have ever eaten one, you know they are worth seeking out.

And I agree with Give us Barabbas. I have one Calhoun peach left among those I brought north in my travels.

That is fantastic news especially about Brooklyn. I try to tell people about it’s history in some long term hope of that town becoming more than vice.

To Give Us Barabbas and Yoopers, there is a Calhoun peach vendor today on W White Oaks Dr next to Seaney’s farm stand.

As the decades pass by?…the more I feel like I’m inside a cosmic joke.
My favorite Buddhist story?…( Buddhists are bathed at birth and again before cremation)…On his deathbed, an elderly monk stated, “I have uttered nonsense from bathtub to bathtub.”
