Regarding the Proud Boys billboard in Clinton County:
The County Board’s resolution last night was nearly meaningless — stating only that they oppose hatred and racism. There was no mention of the group, the group’s conduct or the billboard.
The Board’s action was weak and feeble. It would be like if an industry came into the county and started dumping chromium-6 into the drinking water, then the Board passing a resolution saying they’re opposed to cancer.
