The White Eagle, a popular Polish banquet facility, in suburban Niles, Illinois, that hosted so many political receptions and fund raising events, is going to be demolished. The property is going to be the site of a major condominium development.

The former owner of the White Eagle (Pryzblo) was also a Democratic Township Committeeman.

George Halas is buried across the street in St. Adalbert’s Catholic Cemetery. If the Bears had been thinking, the White Eagle property could have been a stadium site. LOL.
