I finally read the Illinois State Bar Association opinion about the tone and content of the supreme court race’s TV ads. More details in the Capitol Fax, but it comes down much harder on Republican candidate Lloyd Karmeier than Democrat Gordon Maag.

Still, I’d be willing to bet that the media reports it as “both sides condemned,” and leaves it at that, as the AP has already done.

In reference to the media playing it as “both sides condemned”..take at look at the Southern Illinoisan’s coverage. They play it off as if Maag is the one who lied and Karmeier was just being rude by calling Maag a liar.

Maybe if he set up a real blog and got rid of Blogger, he’d learn that some blog software actually has a spell checker in it.
