Also, Ozzie wore this shirt to the rained-out game yesterday…

Now we just need a battle of the Ozzie’s, bring in osbourne!!!
Reminds me of the old staurday night live where they had “Paul Simon” on the show, and both showed up

Zambrano is going on a full week’s rest. They need to try to build those breaks for him in the season when they can. He looks like he’s got his best stuff today.
I’d never thought I’d see a time when the biggest problem both the Cubs and Sox have is scoring runs.

That’s a bad image of Ozzie on the shirt, but then again it’s pretty much impossible to accurately depict constantly flapping gums on a lifeless t-shirt.

The Tribune has a great picture of your manager sticking his face into some kid’s birthday photo-op at Wrigley. Stay classy Ozzie!. What is he, a third grader playing the clown routine or the bully routine? Shouldn’t he be filling out a lineup card or something?
For a second, I thought that t-shirt said “Ozzie blows at Wrigley.” Come to think of it, that gives me a marketing idea…

No kidding. Can you imagine Sam Zell hiring Ozzie to do his landscaping work?
Oh, the outrage.

80 pitches from Zambrano on the day in 5 innings. He had a whole week off, and is built for a large number of pitches, but not great for Cub fans. Meanwhile, Floyd’s got 50 pitches through 4 innings, despite a few walks on the day.

I’ve looked at that t-shirt for a good 2 minutes. Can someone explain to me what it means?

Nevermind, I get it now. Prejudice at its finest.

Sox up 1-0. Z walked Pierzynski intentionally to face Brian Anderson, who knocked in Dye from 2nd. Go Sox!!!

5-1?

best comment from Ozzie re the prejudice of the shirt….”I’d rather be mowing the field than selling t shirts in the rain.”
and he’s managing big league style!

Oops. Make the 5-5.

If the State of Illinois can pull off a comeback like that, we’ll all be just fine.

Nice win for the North Siders. Twins won too. It’s basically an up day, Sox fans!

Keep talking like Blagojevich and you’ll end up that way.
Just sayin…
Comment by Rich Miller Thursday, Jun 18, 09 @ 4:30 pm
That shirt should say “Ozzy’s new job when he gets fired from the Sox’s”

Derek Lee hit another one of his mammoth hrs at wrigley.. what did it travel 361 or 362 feet?

Hey, my power went out for awhile. Could someone tell me what the final score was…

A good team woudn’t have looked as anemic at the plate as the Cubs did yesterday, or blown a late 5-1 lead like the Sox did today. A match made in heaven, at least this year so far.

Wow, Ozzie, first base open, two outs. You gotta walk Soriano and make Theriot beat you.

HEY RICH!
6 to 5? LOL.
Comment by Eurepedes Pantsoff Thursday, Jun 18, 09 @ 6:41 pm
Talking about losing ugly by snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
The Sox give up 6 runs, but only two of which are earned, and 4 are unearned. Conversely, the Sox score 5 runs, all of which are earned.
Cub fans got a gift for sure; but I am not sure I would be so quick to call it a victory.
Comment by Quinn T. Sential Thursday, Jun 18, 09 @ 10:06 pm
Last time I checked Quinn, we don’t measure wins based on earned or unearned runs.
