And now he’s standing there rambling on and on about Lincoln and high speed rail and I can barely follow his train of thought. Hah. I made a funny. Oh, my feet hurt from standing so long. I really need some new shoes. Goodness, did you see his clodhoppers? Did he buy them in the ’70s? He needs a shopping advisor. OK, now I think I’m going to sneeze. Can’t rub my nose because I have to hold this pose. Live TV is such a pain. Why did I put that pepper on my tuna salad? It always makes me sneeze. Wow, my feet really hurt.”

Where are half these places? Are they actually in Illinois? I wonder how many of them have concierge service? My feet really hurt.

  39. It’s not that easy being green.

It seems you blend in with so many other ord’nary things.
And people tend to pass you over ’cause you’re
not standing out like flashy sparkles in the water
    or stars in the sky.
But green’s the color of Spring.
And green can be cool and friendly-like.
And green can be big like an ocean, or important like a mountain, or tall like a tree.

makes as much sense as she does….

Comment by SIck of All of Them Thursday, Mar 25, 10 @ 12:42 am

  47. Rich, the fact that only 46 people have chosen to comment on this, is an indication, however slight, that most of us aren’t excited intrigued or interested in his choice. Hopefully this isn’t a harbinger of thongs to come, but the qotd usually draws more attention when people are moved. Why not ask “who would you pick for lite gov” and “state why in one sentence”
