  1. Just thought I’d put something here to get things started. Kinda slow in comments today.

  4. Is there really any need to debate whether Syverson is the dumbest guy in the Illinois Senate? First he thinks Keyes is a great idea. Then he doesn’t think Rockford needs road work.

Hey Dave — I’ve driven in Rockford. You need all the help you can get. Also, you may want to check out the areas south of downtown. A few more jobs for the Rockford area wouldn’t hurt either.

How in the world has this guy ever won an election? Seriously, the man isn’t good at the whole “politics” thing.

  5. Do you think all of Laesch’s “supporters” at DKos are campaign plants meant to prop him up as a candidate with nationwide appeal? If Hastert dips below 65% in the general against either of these 2 clowns running in the 14th primary, it’ll be a miracle. Let’s face it, if this was a real race, the party (Rahm Emmanuel, etc.)would find a pragmatic candidate with broad appeal across the district, not a Kos/Moore winger with little chance. I doubt Laesch carries his hometown of Newark in the general, if he survives the primary.

I agree with Skeeter’s puzzlement over Syverson’s appeal. He doesn’t seem to have accomplished much except to help provide the entertainment value of the Keyes candidacy. However, if Blago can win elections and fancy himself as presidential material, anything is possible.
