  24. ===just get a robo-call blasting the Chicago Tribune and Rick Pearson? ===

    From?

Comment by Rich Miller Tuesday, Mar 20, 12 @ 4:06 pm

  25. –From–

No clue. The number was 222-222-2222. It claimed Pearson worked three times to get the paper to endorse convicted felons and he tried to get his family members state jobs. The call said to call the Trib and have them fire Pearson.

Comment by Burrito Bandit Tuesday, Mar 20, 12 @ 4:22 pm

  26. Over at the Champaign County Building where the County Clerk’s office is. Somebody comes out of his office from time to time to post the individual precinct results and the running summary. Candidates, reporters, and other political junkies will be there. I will be there with my wife and grand-daughter (good to start them young!). Since there is no polling in the local primaries or the referendum item, there is real suspense. It is interesting and stimulating to see democracy play out in real time, in the company of people who really care.

  36. –Lou Malnati’s Pizza @ the house,–

That sounds good. Lou Malnatti’s is like Frank Thomas — you always get a good at bat.

My kids like Salerno’s on Roosevelt just east of Harlem — that’s where Betty Maltese went to work when she got out of the joint

Me, not so much. I liked Pizza Palazzo in Oak Park, but they bailed under mysterious circumstances, leaving the checkered cloths on the tables.

There are a couple of places in Old Irving Park that are out of this world, but I forget their names.
