New Poll Shows Romano in close battle with 26 year incumbent Lang
Could it be? Could Rep. Lou Lang (D-Skokie) really be in trouble?

In a poll conducting by Victory Media Group of Glenview from October 9-11, challenger Vince Romano scored 44.2% of the vote to 26-year incumbent Democrat Lou Lang’s 55.8%.
OK, so Lang is well over 50. And the pollster isn’t a pollster.

I hope this guy shared these results with Tom Cross. I can hear all the tires screeching in the direction of Plainfield. The Cross HRO braintrust must be in super secret meetings RIGHT NOW recalculating how much money they can put into this race… I knew MJM was out to screw my dad with this new map!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Q; Lou Lang has voted for every tax increase the last 20 years, and he is a loyal follower of the Trib’s mortal enemy Mike Madigan. Knowing this would you vote for him?

While Mitt Romney tied dogs to the roof of his car, Lou Lang actually beat puppies. And he taped his kids to the bed with duct tape and didn’t feed them unless they got straight As.
Are you more or less likely to vote for the child abusing, puppy beating Lou Lang?

Joe Walsh owns just a few suits, they are different colors, and he purchased them with his own money. For most of her adult life, Tammy Duckworth had her friends in Big Government spend your tax dollars buying her countless suits all of the same color.
If the election were held today, and knowing that Tammy Duckworth wants to waste your tax dollar buying her nearly identical outfits while Joe Walsh buys his own clothes, are voting for:

b) Tammy Duckworth.

Would you vote for Lou Lang if you knew that he recently converted to being a Morman? Or if he was converted to Mormanism without his knowledge? Or if he spent two years in France seeking to convert Frenchmen to the Morman faith, along with Mitt Romney?

Well, it’s not a loaded poll question, but — let’s take a little trip down memory lane, shall we?
Sherman, set the Wayback Machine for the year 2008.
This proposal deals with a call for a state constitutional convention. The last such convention was held in 1969-70, and a new Constitution was adopted in 1970. The 1970 Illinois Constitution requires that the question of calling a convention be placed before the voters every 20 years. In 1988 electors rejected the call for a constitutional convention, with 75% voting against calling a convention and 25% voting in favor of calling a convention. If you believe the 1970 Illinois Constitution needs to be revised through the convention process, vote “YES” on the question of calling a constitutional convention. If you believe that a constitutional convention is not necessary, or that changes can be accomplished through other means, vote “NO” on the calling of a constitutional convention.
