Stantis and Kass could open a tea bag saloon. Don’t see much humor in it myself. Lisa has done a good job by most anyone’s calculations. To portray her as nothing more than a little girl is a classless gesture on Stantis’ part.

II.) His power is the Alpha and Omega.
III.) Quinn is now St. Quinn of Assinine due to his performed miracle of delivering State of State speech in English, kinda English and Esperanto at the same time.
IV.) Dick of Durbin is new Senator for Life.
V.) The Republicans are the Party of the Unclean.
VI.) Rob Blagojevich was a lapdog for Satan.
VII.) As were the previous two Democratic governors.
VIII.) Rahm Emanuel has cloven hooves.

Sexist trash. Plenty of good points to make about the issue of nepotism, etc. without making a cartoon out of Lisa’s sex. Reeks of small minded gender bias and deep dark jealousy.

I used to belong to a fraternal organization where there was an unwritten ban on conversations about politics and religion. Principly because these are two topics that generate the most conflict.
So here on the CapFax blog, the two most deadly topics of conversation have managed to intersect. So interest of keeping the peace, please lighten up.

How is this sexist (just because it depicts Madigan’s child as a child)? Would everyone have their PC undies in a bunch if MJM had a son who was an Atty General considering a run for Gov and the cartoon showed MJM holding the hand of his son. It may not be the most funny cartoon, but sexist…give me a break. It just about nepotism in politics (which we in Chicago have embraced with the Daley, Stroger, Burke, etc. familes). Lets not drag gender into it though.

I am not upset by the religious aspect, nor the lame, beat-to-death “Daddy/Daughter” dig. I am more disappointed because it’s neither funny nor thought provoking.
Stantis is as lame as Kass is un-original. There must be a sink-hole underneath the Tribune Tower, sucking the life and originality from any and all who work there.
