Cueto disbarred

Metro East mega-lawyer Amiel Cueto was disbarred today.

No real surprise there. Cueto was imprisoned for the way he represented one of his criminal clients a few years back.

The disbarrment takes effect immediately, so Cueto won’t have any opportunity to ask the Supreme Court to reconsider. He now has to wait five years before he can petition to reinstate his law license.
