Posted in:

* Gov. Pat Quinn

“I always do the right thing, no matter what”

* Bruce Rauner

“I’ve been successful at everything I’ve ever done.”

…Adding… As a reader points out, neither can hold a candle to Billy Madison

  12. My father said when someone starts using ‘absolute’ words (always, everything, must, cannot, never, made me, only, etc.) that is when the BS is getting thick. Nobody bats 1.000 every day and even Michael Jordan misses easy layups.

  19. You’ve got to get the whole quote in context for it to make complete sense:

    “I always do the right thing, no matter what. Just ask me if you need confirmation”
