OFF TOPIC: I only found out about my good fortune regarding the Golden Horseshoe after comments had been shut down for the holiday. I think I was broken down somewhere along I-90 when the good news came down and I didn’t get back on the web until it was ancient history. (Such is the price of having parents who live comfortably in the 1880s — for the last 150 miles of the trip I get zero bars on my cell phone. Zero bars!!1!)
tl;dr I didn’t see it, so I didn’t get a chance to congratulate Soccermom and to say “Thank you!” to Rich and all the commenters who help keep CapFax one of the very smartest spots on all of the internet.
