The Mayor has a good man Terry Peterson. However, I am looking at a Campaign postcard from William “Doc” Walls and it is one ofthe best bits of Campaign Literature that I have seen: On the Card Doc Walls links his campaign to the Harold Washington Administation and On the Other makes a clear and succinct Campaign Plan - Ready for Chicago to work for Everyone - Tired of Mayor Daley and his corruption - Talk is Cheap - and It Takes Money to Win - Asking for ( Grassroots kids this one is for you now Listen Up) ” Give a nickle a day ( 35 cents a week). Together we’ll win.”
Adresses Phone #s clearly marked ! Great work Doc Walls! Mr. Peterson studied it well.

I can’t believe you overlooked Sneed’s big scoop: That Republican pervert Mark Foley “specializes in spot-on impressions of Bill Clinton during the Monica Lewinsky scandal and of California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.”
But there was no explanation of how Republican pervert Mark Foley did an impression of Clinton during a particular time. As I recall, Clinton’s voice has sounded the same throughout his public life.
What’s that?
You think it was just an excuse for Sneed to print Monica Lewinsky’s name in bold type at the top of her column?
Yeah, you’re probably right. Nevermind.

The top item mentioned by Rich here is weird. What’s with the Sun-Times? A feel-good, no-brainer proposal from each campaign to crack down on pedophiles is worthy of a front page “exclusive?”
Besides, as the story goes on to point out, the A.G. and Cook County Sheriff are already pretty much doing what Blago and Judy propose!

Terry Peterson was named campaign manager to blunt the effect of announced, and unannounced, African-American candidates. The same crew of white guys will be plotting strategy: David Axelrod, Jeremiah Joyce, Tim Degnan, Bill Daley. Didn’t Peterson’s 17th Ward organization accept funds from CHA contractors? That’s a conflict of interest, but hey, he is a Daley guy.
