* Last night, somebody forwarded me this e-mail entitled “Quinn for Illinois Get-Together”…
Hello Team Quinn!
With 2015 well on its way, Governor Quinn is hosting a get-together for loyal friends and supporters like you.
The party will be on Thursday, April 30, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm — at Connie’s! Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be served, and a cash bar will also be available.

I’ve since received the e-mail several times, so I thought I’d post it.

Election over in early November…
Thanksgiving.
Transition.
Christmas/New Years.
Inauguration. (Quinn is a no-show).
St. Patrick’s Day.
Passover/Easter.
Now, “Let’s have pizza!” lol

As a former Quinn staffer I can tell you that I will not be in attendance. The fact that the best Quinn can do is buy us pizza like it’s a softball post game get together, while he rewards the guy who ran a horrible campaign for him a very sweet job, while offering most other staff nothing.
What a classless dufus.
