  6. Disgusted,I dont know where you live but snowplows can only do so much at a time. They are not God,so next time be patient. My town was on top of the storm and got the roads very clean when I left for work at 5:30am.I work on the tollway maintenence dept and plow snow to,only the tollway though. So be patient and consider your day off a blessing,Also can I ask anybody who saw the tollway story about a worker getting hit to pray for Mr.Wayne Paulies recovery who was hit by a hit and run driver.Mr Paulie is in critical condition and was one of our employees from my Garage.Slow down when bad weather arrives and also in construction zones we(Tollway Workers)are people to and have families.Be safe and Happy Holidays

  7. Shakespere wrote a play about Bobbie Steeles accomplishments as president and the fanfare surrounding them. It was called “Much ado about nothing”. But do not forget what Alderman Beavers said about her son tsaking her place. He called it “Good Democratic politics.” Funny, there was a time when the Democratic party was the party of the common person; the working class. Not anymore. If you are not political royalty, the Cook County Democratic Party does not giva a damn about you. This is a sad staste of affairs, as the party I once belonged to and the one my grandparents used to tell stories about has now turned into a fiefdom for only the ruch and connected in Cook County.
