Doesn’t the Democratic Party have a super majority? Why are the Republicans trying to break a super minority? Seems backwards to me.

Overall, Rauner beat Madigan, pretty convincingly. But the fighting will continue as this battle was a precursor to 2018. So, Rauner’s beatdown of Madigan really … settles nothing, yet.
