As painfully boring as these are, and despite being no more than blatant campaigning, it really is better than not for the Governor to do these events. Being accessible and providing some information (albeit slanted) has more good components than bad.
Could you imagine Madigan doing likewise?!
P.S. The shout-outs are especially awful, they need to go away.

I submitted a question and now I wish I had rephrased it as the Governor replied to it. His answers to the questions were so convoluted and all ended up being about term limits and freezing property taxes, he repeated himself too much. I did appreciate the comments that the chat was not closed captioned for the hearing impaired. Awkward way to address your constituents.
