Just because Rauner failed to accomplish anything good for Illinois, doesn’t mean other gubernatorial candidates have to defer to him before telling voters what they promise to accomplish as governor.

It’s good to compare who really is helping social services and who needs to be propped up when they aren’t helping social services.

Ugh. I am so sick of the “whoo-hoo, the governor’s wife is mad at him now!” nonsense. I don’t care about the state of his marriage. I care about the state of our state. And he is destroying us.

Rather than a measure of the state of the Rauner marriage, I read it as a measure of how well Rauner’s “It ain’t my fault! It ain’t never my fault!” messaging is holding up.
