* It’s gonna be a busy day, campers. It’s the last day of the fiscal year, the House and Senate convene at 9 o’clock, with the House taking up its budget bill. Christine is still the Republican Leader in the Senate through today. They don’t have Caucus time to waste on this today until the budget is settled. Hope it’s not a signal that the budget is already lost. Do it tomorrow.

David Harris has been publicly supporting a negotiated budget agreement, with both cuts and taxes, and no ideological posturing, for 2 1/2 years now. If only others had joined him earlier.
