As we watched this live, I made a comment to the missus… I bet that if someone had a parabolic mic on them and broadcast the sound to the rest of the room the entire vote would go 2 yea, 52 no. Very rude - they were standing there chuckling and chatting while senators were debating. Best as I could tell the only two disrespectful people in the room - shocked? nope.

Why exactly didn’t they propose and pass this budget and tax increase 2 1/2 years ago?
Permanent tax increase, zero reforms is not exactly a recipe for a huge Democratic wave in 2018
