Most of his scribbles are about what he saw on TV the day before, usually Fox gabfests.
Or, they’re about what he ate the day before.
He seems to spend most of his time watching TV and eating.

To the idea this is demonizing…well, literally it is, but while not terribly funny, it was an attempt at humor and causes no harm.
The question is how does a once proud newspaper like the Tribune have a marque columnist who is a really bad writer.

if Michael Madigan is the Night King (he isn’t), then who is John Kass? One of the members Night’s Watch who didn’t make it past the early seasons because he was too busy focusing on the wrong enemy?

Does Kass still write about the so-called “combine?” Does anyone else remember when he peddled the stuff about both parties being in on the political shake down?
Now it’s all Boss Madigan or Madiganistan in every illegible, nonsensical column day after day. What a chumbalone.
On the other hand, maybe he’s waiting to get the exclusive interview with Stu Levine to revive the ol’ Combine angle after Governor Rauner sells his tronc shares.

I would cast Madigan as Petyr Baelish and Rauner as Cersei.
