So Proft creates phony publications. He then gets those publications to write useful headlines. He then uses his own publications in his own mail piece. And voters are supposed to care about this?

Aw, you’re asking the wrong question.
The question at the end is… do the voters know about this.
It’s one thing to be fooled by a magic trick, it’s another to actually know you’re being fooled.

Voters don’t know the Prairie State Wire isn’t a real newspaper. The Profit news network is actively soliciting libraries to start carrying the newspapers.
Durkin has real problems here, he better hope the dive into Mickey’s past comes up with more than some letter.

What’s bizarre, other than Profts theatrical personality, is he aligns himself with Local 150 in attacking Durkin , 150 is a major alli to all things Madigan, and all things democratic/socialist machine politics ( unlike the old days under-prior Business Manager) ) and this makes for a convoluted message.

This is Proft saying Durkin turned his back on “conservatives”, while Rauner supports Durkin… while Proft also wants all those Republicans who turned on Rauner (you read that right) defeated too.
That Proft, nobody can stand for nothing… and everything… the way he can.
It’s a gift.
