Just a friendly reminder to bring a toy to Monday’s speech

Posted in:

* If you’re planning to attend the City Club’s “Christmas with Rich Miller” on Monday, please remember to bring a toy or two (or ten) for kids ages 2-5. Don’t wrap them. Your toys will be donated to Lutheran Social Services of Illinois.

If you aren’t planning to attend (and it’s way too late to get tickets now) you can always click here to donate to LSSI. You’ll also be able to watch the speech live at the City Club’s website.

A big thanks to everyone who bought tickets. The City Club just told me Monday’s event will be its biggest of the year. Pretty cool. Glad I got a haircut this week.

  1. What kind of toys do you like Rich? Also, were you naughty or nice this year?

  2. *resigns to another year of persistent LSSI mailings and clicks donate link*

Have a good trip. Will be heckling from here.

  3. As long as I have been following this site I have never missed watching your City Club speech and am looking forward to it again this year.

If I didn’t live so far South I would relish being there.

And LSSI is on my short list of those charities and non-profits that I do contribute to as much I am able. I hope this push is successful.

  5. Looking forward to your speech. It’s always entertaining.

Thank you to LSSI, and the many other social services providing for those in need this time of year. LSSI is a great organization and beyond deserving of support.

  6. I’ll have to watch the broadcast. OW’s restraining order makes it impossible for us to be together even in a really big room. lol.

I’m sure it’ll be wonderful as it always is.
