* Lt. Gov. Evelyn Sanguinetti in the Tribune…
Asked what she and Rauner disagree on, Sanguinetti listed two areas — one serious, one not so much.
“So, he doesn’t know how to dress. And I’ve tried to help, but brother won’t listen,” Sanguinetti said, referring to Rauner’s typical uniform of casual ranch-hand slacks with a plaid button-down shirt and ultra-long sport coat. Sometimes, the governor swaps the coat for a vest.
“He’s his own person. He beats to his own fashion drum, but that’s one disagreement,” Sanguinetti said.

The reason ole Slip and Sue is fine with the disagreements is that she was “hired”… when Pat Quinn’s administration wouldn’t hire her when she inquired via email for work.
That’s all Slip and Sue sees.
She was hired. She’s grateful.
It’s about the job. She made it clear long ago.

Awwww that’s cute. Reminds me of his campaign commercials when Diana would joke about his ugly shirt. And it almost makes me forget about all the damage he has done to the state.

For me it’s certainly not a problem that super-rich people dress casually, it’s that Rauner uses attire to con people into thinking he’s a “regular working class guy.” Trump doesn’t pretend to be working class in appearance; his con is his rhetoric. Bruce does both but Trump is such a better communicator and media person. Rauner fumbles and stumbles without talking points.

She’s spent 3 of 4 years studying the “problem” of our 7000 units of government in IL and she’s got … nothing …
It must really be tough to need to check all/any of your ideas with the Gov - as his Lt Gov - as though he was your boss …. oh, wait ….

Rauners clothes are intentionaly worn to be a visual lie to hide who he really is. But Sue thinks its a cutesy chuckle because us little folk are to dumb to know it.
