Will the Illini basketball team win a conference game this season?? I know they’re young and inexperienced, but they can look spectacular for a half, then look clueless the other half. Frustrating.

Saw a “Madigan-Mickey” hit ad last night on broadcast TV. Looks like Leader Durkin’s race could challenge for the most expensive legislative primary in state history if they’re running broadcast ads in the Chicago market 10 weeks from Election Day.

Rich, I feel your pain. Literally. Was back at the doc today as well. Been futzing around with this flu for three weeks. Rest up, buddy.
Steve, I don’t know what it’s going to take to get the Illini over the hump. Less fouling, to be sure. Keeping the guys healthy and having them not “break team rules” would also help. It’s been frustrating to watch-can’t imagine the frustration level Coach and the players have right now. As you say, stitching together a complete game seems impossible right now.

This Biss fellow is racing to get so far left its actually funny. Electric and gas bills are going to go thru the roof this month with cheap dirty energy. Poor people will feel the results of this for the entire year. Lets face it. Biss is playing up to the rich people. He could care less about the poor and middle class. Is this the new,progressive Democratic party?
