Its a shame there wasn’t room at the bottom of the mailer to include what should have been the second half of his statement: “Rauner: I’ll veto permanent tax hike, and then gladly spend every penny of it (and more)”

Bruce has tried for 3 years to stand up to MJM and it hasn’t worked yet. No argument that the Speaker is a pain like no other. He is the main reason that things don’t done in the GA and he controls virtually everything that goes on under the dome but unless you can find another way, you have to work with him. And we all know that ain’t easy.
