…I getcha…every time they ask me a question with the word “Madigan” in it, I’m supposed to answer using the word “Obama” (and maybe “Trump/Rauner” thrown in for good measure). Don’t worry boss, I’ll show them how independent of you I am.

I think Scott Drury would point out that Obama’s vision included meaningful gun control, not legislation that looks like gun control but does nothing.

We are honored that he learned to vote Present here as a State Senator and we taught him advanced deficit spending so he would fit right in in Washington.

But in all honestly, never forget the fact that Madigan openly mocked Obama after 2004, sarcastically calling him “The Messiah,” which was the favorite put-down of right wing talk radio at the time.
