Despite a lackluster spring session, the Illinois Legislature managed to eke out several good bills. 1. Yes teen drivers are worse than elderly drivers. They do not vote in anywhere near the numbers of senior citizens. That is why they have the ear of the legislators.

  2. You may be correct about teen drivers, Wumpus, but their driving skills will improve in time. The skills of elderly drivers are going the other way, and there is not much anyone can do about that.

  3. Yeah, they got right on voting on the electric rate freeze bill. Just wait until the bills come in from this summer heat. Then the pressure will be on. Perhaps then the legislators can move the process from a secret room to a more democratic environment.
