Upon further review, SEC actually sanctioned firm that did biz with TRS. Member of the firm gave money to Rauner campaign, but that was refunded upon request. Firm was prohibited from doing biz with TRS for 2 years under pay2play rule. But kept going. Firm penalized $120,000 https://t.co/N33kXCJfct

Democrats have two simple ways to beat Rauner -
Promise free stuff
Remind voters how much Rauner failed.
Not this.
Not “profitted from caging children”, or “pay2play fines”, or “Bruce is Trump Jr.”
Because doing that doesn’t win votes. You don’t need to scare voters with scare stories.
Just promise free stuff and remind voters what a horrible governor we have with Rauner.
Give voters a reason to vote for you.
Simple.

Did you ever think a majority of Illinois residents, of both parties, desperately want a Speaker and leader of the Democratic party in Illinois who is capable of compromising with Governor Rauner?
The Speaker’s approval rating dictates that a majority of Democratic voters would like to Fire Madigan. He has failed to move one inch from his positions in the past 3 1/2 years.
