This won’t show up in a TV ad. No way. Not a chance

  1. Is he throwing in the towel? This seems like self-immolation. The pic that Dave McKinney posted of the two of them in the victory pose is just solid gold.

  2. Do they need to file an in-kind to JB’s campaign?

  4. Don’t worry.

The Pritzker Crew will quadruple down on the profiting off keeping children from their parents for the next two weeks or so…

Then maybe they’ll get to this.

    We’ll see.

    Focus, Pritzker Crew, focus.

  5. Putting this in a TV ad is the greatest favor JB could do for him.

It’s not an accident that Rauner is praising Trump admin more these days. It’s strategy.

  6. Rauner should have worn a MAGA cap to make the moment perfect.

  7. Rauner a really doesn’t have a chance. The Trumpian party has become so far removed from Herman Republicans used to be and with a challenge on the right he really has no choice but accentuate the awfulness he is.

  8. Oh, can I get the first follow-up question at the next media availability:

“You called VP Pence one of the greatest leaders in American history. Would you rank him ahead or behind President Trump?”

    Or

“You called VP Pence on of the greatest leaders in American history, even though he’s known for leading social conservative causes like legalizing discrimination against gay Americans. Any second thoughts about your praise?”

Comment by Juvenal Friday, Jul 13, 18 @ 4:16 pm

  9. I take it Bruce’s Dartmouth degree required no U S History courses. One of the greatest leaders in American History. Gag me with a spoon

But Trump didn’t create an Indiana - the envy of the Illinois misinformed.

Hard to understand what that strategy is. Have you seen Trump’s polling numbers in this state?

  15. You can say Rauner certainly knows his audience.
