Rich, I just want to offer my condolences on the passing of Shirley McCombs. She has been a fixture in Menard County my entire life; she was active in the American political process and she believed in our democratic system. Throughout her life, she was an engaged citizen who worked for candidates and policies that she believed in. Shirley was a gracious and committed woman who will be greatly missed.
