It’s better than defacing the signs or stealing them (except for the Nazi). I just don’t remember this ever being a thing before.

    Depends on where they’re at. If they’re in right-of-ways vacant lots, go right ahead. But I wouldn’t like this being put in people’s yards.

  7. Indeed preferable to taking signs, just don’t trespass to get cute. If I have a sign in my yard, don’t try putting yours next to mine or I’m well within my rights to take it down.

  16. I think I first remember seeing them in the 2016 primary when Omar Aquino put out signs at the polling place tying his primary rival to Bruce Rauner.

  20. Dave Severin did this two years ago… putting out signs linking John Bradley to Madigan.

    The Costello - Freese race has more snarky signs than actual pro-candidate signs.
