  9. My hopes for the future in this state has improved greatly with today’s results . Lots of hard work ahead but at least there won’t be one person intent on killing the unions in the mix

  16. Mikey the Dem, I’m sure there will always be a lively debate on capfax. JB still has to govern. And man is that a wide open subject. How to do it. How to repair the damage of Rauner. So much to debate and discuss. What hopefully will die is my usage of the word perfidy.

  17. I have followed this blog for 12 years plus and it will not slow down. I do not post on here because everyone else is so much more informed than me but I enjoy reading the comments as much or more then the posts (sorry Mr. Miller). I check this blog 30X a day but cant afford to subscribe. Wish I could and someday I will. Thank you for giving us poor folks an insider look into our Illinois political window.

  18. Cheeky radio spot encouraging people to flee Illinois for Indiana before Pritzker’s tax hikes aired almost as soon as Rauner conceded.

    Hultgren’s loss seems attributable to sheer laziness. He sat on a pile of cash and let Underwood run circles around him.
