The book group meets on the third Wednesday of each month. Mike hosted in November, so you are up for December. I think its John’s turn to bring chips, and Bill need to bring drinks. I wrote the discussion questions on the bookmark. Jim will bring the tissues. This one is a tear jerker.

This is Mike Royko’s book “Boss”, the biography of Richard J. Daley. Mike Madigan learned democratic machine politics at Hizzoner’s right hand. This book tells the secret to Madigan’s political longevity and power. I bookmarked the secret to which type of apples he likes.
